Dimension Strings made easy!
Articulate Presets for Strings D are the most extensive Vienna Instruments pro presets ever created and contain all content of the Dimension Strings 1-3 libraries as well as the free sul ponticello patches. They offer two complete sets of presets: Individual Player Presets to access each instrument separately, as well as Section Presets that offer full Section Control with Auto Divisi for all articulations. I.e. if you e.g. dial a 2-player section with the Section Controller the four notes of a chord are automatically distributed among the different desks. At the same time the Section Controller also gives you manual access to all individual groups and desks
The package includes the following four Section Presets* (both standard and full versions):
Violins D, Violas D, Cellos D and Basses D
as well as the 24 corresponding Individual Player Presets:
Violins D1-8, Violas D1-6, Cellos D1-6 and Basses D1-4
These Presets contain each over 100 matrices that implement up to 3D control* and are compatible with all other Articulate Presets. The Individual Player Presets implement full String Control for all articulations and the Section Presets for the most important ones. Moreover, the package includes the complete integration into all supported Music Applications (Logic, Dorico, Cubase, Studio One).
All presets come in a normal version, an empty version where the samples are not loaded and the Violins also in a version with alternate MIRx room placement and EQ to be used as second Violins. Moreover key matrices are separately included.
Important: Requires licenses for at least one of the Dimension Strings 1-3 Standard or Full Libraries. A MIRx venue is also recommended for out-of-the-box room placement and reverberation.
* Due to limitiations in VI pro the Section Presets can only offer 2D-control (i.e. the Section Controller and depending on the matrix either the Horizontal or the Vertical Controller). However, they still offer all main control features, for instance continuous control of the bowing position from sul ponticello via normal bowing to sul tasto.
